Navigating special education can be a harrowing experience. You are not alone. There are over 1700 students in Hillsborough accessing special education, and over 215,000 special education students in the state of New Jersey.

The Hillsborough Parent Advisory Council (HPAC) comprises parents of students accessing special education services, district staff and administration. We hope to assist parents and staff in the special education process, by facilitating communication between home and school, collaborating, problem solving, and most importantly by giving parent input in planning for children with regard to special education needs and issues.

Our monthly meetings are open to all parents, students, teachers, specialists, community members, and others with an interest in special education.
